Evening Prayer – 16 December 2020

The sun has set and the Vesper Lights flicker and glow
It has been a long and exhausting day
Yet it has also been a day filled with moments of wonder and awe
Tomorrow we record my portions of worship for the 27th and the 3rd
While it is a bit surreal, the Spirit guides us
Now as my eyelids grow heavy
I lift this humble prayer to you
Dona Nobis Pacem
Grant Us Peace
A wee prayer from the heart of your Padre…
I love that you have a Charlie Brown tree! That makes me grin hugely; it’s so unexpected.
I hope everything goes smoothly for you today and that you slept well and deeply. Hugs to you and Denise!
Thank you so very much ❤️❤️
Your minimalist tree made me smile, Michael. It feels appropriate somehow in a year where normality has been displaced and our Christmas celebrations are having to be pared back. I smiled wider on reading the Charlie Brown comment too. Thank you for a welcome moment of light relief which is sorely needed these days! May God greatly bless and strengthen you for the tasks ahead. x 😊❤️
Thank you, Joy ❣️ Yes, it seems appropriate this year. It came in the mail yesterday. Blessings to you, my dear Sister 🤗❤️
