Evening Prayer – 29 July 2017

The sun has set and the Vesper Lights flicker and glow 

A long and exhausting day of travel

A long and exhausting week on the road

Lifting to you, Lord, those who are in the midst of life’s transitions 

Lifting to you, Lord, the caregivers

Lifting to you, Lord, the families

When we don’t know what to pray, Lord

You hear the sighs and groans of our hearts 

Hear this prayer we pray

Dona Nobis Pacem 

Grant Us Peace
