Verse of the day

Righteousness and justice are the foundation of your throne; steadfast love and faithfulness go before you.
-Psalm 89:14

Voice of the day

There is not some separation between Jesus and justice; to be Christian is to be concerned with what’s going on in the world.
-Rev. William J. Barber II

Prayer of the day

God, let justice be more than something we believe in; let it be something we build, defend, and live out each day. Teach us to lead with love, remain faithful when the work gets hard, and recognize your presence wherever dignity and compassion take root. Amen.
