I feel that genuine service can only be offered as a result of sincere compassion.
I feel that sincere compassion is born only of one’s own suffering… of experience that deepens empathy because one knows pain very well.
Anyone can put on a smile.
Anyone can act because they know they should…
Of course, some good will come of any loving service!
But heartfelt service does not feel like service at all …there is no thought involved. It’s a natural response to a circumstance.
Service is a gift… one’s privilege to have been given the opportunity to help another.
