Compline Prayer
For those who might need this prayer tonight from the Anglican Prayerbook: Keep watch, dear Lord, with those who work, or watch, or weep this night, and give your angels charge over those who sleep. Tend the sick, Lord Christ; give rest to the weary, bless the dying, soothe the suffering, pity the afflicted, shield the joyous; and all for your love’s sake. Amen.

As a former Anglican/Episcopalian this is one of my favorite prayers. Most of my working life was spent as a Noc/third shift worker in care centers. Thank you for sharing that prayer from the service of Compline.
