Evening Prayer – 14 September 2021
The sun has set and the Vesper Lights flicker and glow
It has been long and exhausting day
Dad is safely in his new apartment
The caregivers at Good Samaritan hated to see him go
The caregivers at The Cedars joyfully welcomed him home
We began our drive to Alabama to care for Denise’s Dad
This has been a long journey thus far
We are thankful for the love and support of so many
Now as my eyelids grow heavy
I lift this humble prayer to you
Dona Nobis Pacem
Grant Us Peace
