Evening Prayer – 2 March 2021

The sun has set and the Vesper Lights flicker and glow

A day of fun and excitement

An early trip to the office tripped the alarm

The officer who responded and I got a good chuckle out of it

So did our Buildings and Grounds chair

It was a day of meetings and ministry

It was a time for delightful visits over the phone

After a lovely dinner to have time to relax

Spending the evening relaxing with my sweetheart

Thank you for the blessings of this day, Lord

Now as my eyelids grow heavy

I lift this humble prayer to you

Dona Nobis Pacem

Grant Us Peace
