Evening Prayer – 30 December 2019

The sun has set and the Vesper Lights flicker and glow

It has been a wonderful day of rest and reflection

The last of our family made it home safely

It has been a day of prayer and reflection

It has been a time to simply Be Still

It has been a day of refreshment

It has been a day with my sweetheart

Lord, for all of these gifts I thank you

Now as my eyelids grow heavy

I lift this humble prayer to you

Dona Nobis Pacem

Grant Us Peace
