Evening Prayer – 25 December 2019

The sun has set and the Vesper Lights flicker and glow

A wonderful day spent with family

Time as well talking with family who aren’t here

It was a bittersweet day as we remembered our Mothers

Forever in our hearts but not in our midst

In the midst of the busyness of the day

I was thankful for some time to simply Be Still

Now as my eyelids grow heavy

I lift this humble prayer to you

Dona Nobis Pacem

Grant Us Peace
