Evening Prayer – 8 November 2019

The sun has set and the Vesper Lights flicker and glow

A long and exhausting day of errands

Yet in the midst of it all

To spend time with my sweetheart

What a blessing indeed

Music soothes the soul

To spend the evening with a dear friend

To listen to his music and be with other friends

Such a blessing indeed

And now, as our eyelids grow heavy

I lift this humble prayer to you

Dona Nobis Pacem

Grant Us Peace
