Evening Prayer – 23 October 2019

The sun has set and the Vesper Lights flicker and glow

A long but productive day

Time spent with my sweetheart

Time spent reading Merton

Time spent learning about Stephen Ministry

Time spent with very dear parishioners and friends

Now we await a late night flight

Off to spend time with my Dad

Then to spend some time with a very dear friend

To walk with their family through a tough day

Even though we walk through the Valley of the Shadows

You are with us Lord

Be with the family I pray

In the midst of grief

May your love comfort and surround

For this nation and world I pray

Dona Nobis Pacem

Grant Us Peace
