Body Awareness and Gratitude

Wandering in the marshy area where Moose hang out
Tripping over limbs
Sinking in the Marsh
Seeing evidence of the Mama Moose and her Baby
Not seeing them though
Rain was falling
In the distance thunder is heard
The rain continues to fall
Becoming damp, I am chilled
I am also aware of the depression
Aware of a growing headache
Aware of the tiredness of my body and spirit
Yet I am also aware that I am fully alive
The sun has come out
The sky brightens
I am alive and fully aware of my body
I am fully aware of my environment
All because we chose to wander off of the path in search of a family.
