Evening Prayer – 21 March 2019

The sun has set and the Vesper Lights flicker and glow

Thank you, Lord, for the brief respite

Thank you, for the short time in your creation

When life and schedules overwhelm

You find a way for me to pause and be still

Lord, help us to find and to make more moments like that

Lord, help us to simply Be Still

Now as my eyelids grow heavy

I lift this humble prayer to you

Dona Nobis Pacem

Grant Us Peace
