Evening Prayer – 14 March 2019

The sun has set and the Vesper Lights flicker and glow
After the storm subsides
After the ice melts
After we are able to move and drive about
To spend time with dear friends
To spend time preparing for tomorrow’s Melodrama performance
To spend time simply relaxing
To simply be still
For these and all your gifts
We thank you, Lord
Now we lift this humble prayer to you
Dona Nobis Pacem
Grant Us Peace
A wee prayer from the heart of your Padre…
Wow, what a glorious sunset you’ve depicted, Michael! It’s perfectly framed by the black-laced trees and brilliant whiteness of snow. Although it must make walking and driving hazardous, the beauty is still breathtaking. We’ve had next to no snow all winter, but I daresay you’ll be glad to see the back of it. 🙂 ❤
We need the moisture desperately. Otherwise the fire hazard in the National Park and National Forest will be dangerously high. But smaller and more frequent snow dumping would be nice 😉
