The sun has set and the Vesper Lights flicker and glow

It has been a day of travel and simply being

Lord, as the miles of landscape go by

Opportunities to enjoy the wonder of your creation

Tonight has been a night of simple relaxation with my sweetie

Tonight was also an opportunity to reconnect

To connect with someone from long ago

It is the joyful nature of our connectional family

Now, as we wind down to rest

As my eyelids grow heavy

I lift this humble prayer to you

Dona Nobis Pacem

Grant Us Peace
