Evening Prayer – 5 October 2018

The sun has set and the Vesper Lights flicker and glow

A day of rest and reflection

An evening of remembering and celebration

Tomorrow we lay to rest a very dear friend

As I ponder the journey through the Valley of the Shadows

As I contemplate the beauty of relationships

I give you thanks, Oh Lord

For the gifts of life, love, and friendship

With a thankful heart, I lift this humble prayer

Dona Nobis Pacem

Grant Us Peace
