Evening Prayer – 27 August 2018

The sun has set and the Vesper Lights flicker and glow

A day of introspection

A time of reflection and study

Worshipping and celebrating Communion

As the Elk bugled tonight

As the Coyotes howled and yipped

I was in awe and wonder

Your creation is so amazing, Lord

As I think of so many who are lonely

As I think of so many who mourn

As I think of those who fight fires this night

As I think of your children who are hungry

As I think of your children who live in fear

As I think of your children trapped in war zones

As I think of so many, Lord

I lift this humble prayer

Dona Nobis Pacem

Grant Us Peace
