The sun has set and the Vesper Lights flicker and glow

A day of rest, refreshment, relaxation, and family

A time to recover from a week of Church business

Even as we wandered throughout Chicago

We found subtle and not so subtle reminders

Reminders of your call to us, Lord

To welcome the stranger

To do Justice

To love Mercy & Kindness

To walk Humbly with you

As we continue to love and to serve

As we continue to work in the margins

As we seek to be a witness to your love

To be witness to your love to all of your children

To be witnesses to the LGBTQAI+ community

A witness to the fact that #LoveWins

Lord, in your mercy, hear our humble prayer

Dona Nobis Pacem

Grant Us Peace
