The sun has set and the Vesper Lights flicker and glow

Another day of beauty and hope

Beauty despite the ugliness shown by some on the international stage

Hope despite the insanity which parades as leadership

Beauty thanks to the love of so many

Hope thanks to the wonder of your creation, Lord

Help us, Lord, in our small and ordinary lives

To be significant and large in our love for others

Lord, help us to be your instruments

Of peace, love, mercy, hope, compassion

Lord, in your mercy, hear this prayer

Dona Nobis Pacem
