Evening Prayer – 1 January 2018

The sun has set and the Vesper Lights flicker and glow

The first day of the new year had ended

A time of rest and recuperation

A time of remembering and mourning

A time of hope and promise

For this day and for this year, I thank you, Lord

For friends and companions on the journey, I thank you, Lord

For the promise you offer to each of us we pray

Dona Nobis Pacem

Grant Us Peace
