Evening Prayer – 15 November 2017

The sun has set and the Vesper Lights flicker and glow

A heavy day filled with difficult decisions

A heavy day filled with difficult conversations

Yet also a day filled with grace and mercy

A day filled with love from the parish I serve

A day filled with love from partners in the Lord’s service

A day filled with reflection and prayer

For my family, for those whom I love

For those who are related by Spirit, not blood

For your children, Lord, I lift this prayer

Dona Nobis Pacem

Grant Us Peace
