Evening Prayer – 4 November 2017

The sun has set and the Vesper Lights flicker and glow 

What a day and a week it has been, Lord

So many in our church and Estes Park family in the midst of struggles

Blessed are those who mourn

May they be comforted 

Blessed are those who are recovering from accidents and illnesses

May they know your healing

Closer to home, Lord, I pray for our families

So much is going on in their lives

Lord, may your healing balm touch them

For a world seemingly gone mad, we pray for your sanity

May your Spirit turn leaders into servants

May your Spirit turn narcissists into caring and compassionate leaders

May your Spirit, the Spirit of Love, Mercy, and Peace transform us

In your mercy, hear our prayer

Dona Nobis Pacem 

Grant Us Peace
