The sun has set and the Vesper Lights flicker and glow 

My heart is heavy tonight 

Dear ones (two and four legged) battling with cancer

On the world stage, two mad-men rave

These men are delusional and dangerous

Their words threaten the global neighborhood 

Their alternate reality can kill us all

Lord, how often you must pray and weep and pray

I don’t know what to say

Yet I trust and know you have not forsaken us

Lord, tonight I weep with you

Lord, tonight I pray with you

Dona Nobis Pacem et in Terra 

Grant Us Peace on Earth
