Evening Prayer – 28 July 2017

The sun has set and the Vesper Lights flicker and glow 

Thank you, Lord, for time with family

Thank you, Lord, for time with friends 

Thank you, Lord, for music which speaks to the soul

Thank you, Lord, for times of travel and exploration

Thank you, Lord, for a good night’s rest

Keep watch, dear Lord

With those who work, or watch, or weep this night

Give your angels charge over those who sleep 

Tend the sick, Lord Christ

Give rest to the weary

Bless the dying

Soothe the suffering

Pity the afflicted

Shield the joyous

And all for your love’s sake

Lord, in your mercy, hear our prayer 

Dona Nobis Pacem 

Grant Us Peace
