Evening Prayer – 16 June 2017

The sun has set and the Vesper Lights flicker and glow 

A day of relaxing and enjoying God’s wondrous creation

Time to contemplate, reflect, and renew

As soon as cell phone coverage returns, a reminder

A reminder of lives in chaos and pain

A reminder of the call to walk with and serve others

A reminder of why it is important to recharge

As I lift those in need to you, O Lord

Hear my humble prayer on our behalf

Dona Nobis Pacem 

Grant Us Peace
