Evening Prayer – 7 June 2017

The sun has set and the Vesper Lights flicker and glow 

A long day of conversations, visitation, and emotion

Lord, you know the prayers of those in need

Hearing stories of the border fills me with hope

Despite the hatred and vitriol hurled their way 

We heard of hope and promise and your Spirit’s presence 

For those whom I hold in my heart I lift this prayer 

Dona Nobis Pacem 

Grant Us Peace
