Evening Prayer – 6 June 2017

The sun has set and the Vesper Lights flicker and glow 

A day of work and prayer and fellowship

A day to simply be in your presence, Lord

A day to give thanks for the love you shower upon us

Yet, Lord, we know not all feel that presence 

For your children, Lord, struggling in the darkness 

For your children, Lord, who feel only sorrow

For your children, Lord, who feel emptiness 

For each of your children, Lord, I lift this prayer 

Dona Nobis Pacem

Grant Us Peace
