Listening to Creation – Christine Valters Paintner

May 17, 2017

Interestingly enough, I have often experienced this here in the Rockies with our four legged neighbors…

“We might be tempted to think that creation cannot speak to us in language and so it has nothing of importance to say. Rather than speak about nature, we might consider engaging in a conversation, addressing our speech to creatures, and know that they will respond in their own form of communication.”
— Christine Valters Paintner, PhD Earth as the Original Monastery~ A Self-Study Online Retreat
How much do we assume we know about the lives of animals, oceans, trees, or the wind? How much does this obscure our capacity to enter into loving relationship and receive their wisdom?
