The sun has set and the Vesper Lights flicker and glow 

A day of meetings and study

A time of reflection and prayer

Praying for love to overcome hate

Praying for understanding to overcome bigotry

Praying for your wisdom, Lord, in this world of madness

Praying for your strength to stand in the face of evil

Praying for your peace to overcome division

Lord in your mercy, hear my prayer

Dona Nobis Pacem et in Terra 

Grant Us Peace on Earth
