Evening Prayer – 23 October 2016

As we departed this beautiful “thin place”

We offered thanksgiving for the Sabbath blessing

Through discussions, sharing, worship, reflection

We drew closer to you, O Lord 

We drew closer to one another

Thank you for these Sabbath gifts 

Now, the sun has set and the Vesper Lights flicker

A long afternoon of driving 

Yielded a wonderful evening with family

This weary Padre lifts up his evening prayer to you, O Lord

Dona Nobis Pacem 

Grant Us Peace 

A wee prayer from the thankful, yet sleepy heart of your Padre…
