Evening Prayer – 9 October 2016

The sun has set and the Vesper Lights flicker and glow 

Another full Lord’s day of worship

As well, time spend with dear friends

An empassioned prayer in worship

Lord, transform our leaders

Transform partisan politicians into servant leaders

Tonight I feel hopeful, not in what has become a perverse process

I feel hopeful that transformation is possible

You healed ten lepers, Lord

One returned praising you

As we walked along side the Elk and Deer this night

I felt that glimmer of hope

I heard the voice of the one who returned praising you

Lord, have mercy on us

Heal us, Transform us, Save us!

Lord in your mercy; hear this prayer

Dona Nobis Pacem

Grant Us Peace
