Evening Prayer – 9 September 2016

The sun has set and the Vesper Lights flicker and glow 

Said farewell to dear friends after a wonderful visit

Spent time relaxing and working on course work

An unusual form of Sabbath rest

But Sabbath rest indeed

Lord, thank you for the reminder

The reminder to be still

The reminder to rest in your presence

As Augustine said, “My soul is restless until it finds its rest in you” Lord

Lord, to you, I lift this prayer

Dona Nobis Pacem 

Grant Us Peace
