Evening Prayer – 8 September 2016

The sun has set and the Vesper Lights flicker and glow 

A day of discussions

A day filled with laughter

A day filled with hope

A day filled with friendship 

Yet also a day where loved ones mourn

A day where darkness threatens so many

A day where grief threatens to overwhelm 

In all places and in all situations

You, O Lord, are ever present 

Help us to see you in all times and places

May your light and love guide us always

Lord, in your mercy, hear our prayer

Dona Nobis Pacem

Grant Us Peace
