The Vesper Lights flicker and glow 

Words fail tonight, Lord

Another day of senseless killing

A peaceful protest tragically turned violent

Have your children lost their souls Lord?

Your heart must be breaking

The only prayer I can lift is this

A prayer, a scream, a plea…
