As the sun set and the Vesper Lights flickered

My Evening Prayer ascended to you

Spending the evening immersed in St Columba

Seeing the necessity of a faith firmly rooted

Rooted in the world, not avoiding it

Seeking justice

Seeking kindness

Seeking to walk humbly with God

Seeking to be present to all of God’s creation

May this evening prayer arise from life itself

Dona Nobis Pacem

Grant Us Peace
