The sun has set and the fireplace flickers

The Vesper Lights are lit as the Evening Prayers ascend

With a full heart I lift up my prayer

For those I love who are struggling

Circle them, Lord

Keep their hope alive

For those I love who have big decisions to make

Circle them, Lord

Keep their spirit calm and serene

For those who walk in the Valley of Shadows

Circle them, Lord

Let your light shine and guide

As I lift up my Evening Prayer

Lord, in your mercy, hear my prayer

In all things, times, and places 

Dona Nobis Pacem

Grant Us Peace
