On this first Lord’s day of 2016

We gathered around your table, Lord

The bread was broken

The cup was filled

A new year with new beginnings

Thank you, Lord, for your presence

Thank you, Lord, for your grace

Help us to actively seek ways to serve you

Now, as the Vesper Lights are lit

As our Evening Prayers lift up to you

Lord, in your mercy, hear our prayer

For a world living in darkness

For people who live in fear

For these and many more we pray

Dona Nobis Pacem 

Grant Us Peace
