The Vesper Lights have been lit

For your presence during the ups and downs

For your light in the darkness

For your hope in uncertainty

We give you thanks, O Lord

As the new year begins

May your grace, mercy, love, and peace

Be at the forefront of all that we do

For the world that You created

This is my fervent prayer
