Yesterday we had our last hike of 2015

Today we had our first hike of 2016

It was a time of exercise and reflection

A time to be overwhelmed by God’s creation

The Vesper Lights are lit

Lord, in your mercy, hear our prayer

On the eve of the first day of the new year, we pray for

Healing for those in need of your touch

Guidance for those who are lost

Compassion for the heartless

Love to influence those who’s hearts are hard

Peace for those who live in daily fear

Comfort for those who mourn

Wisdom for those who seek to lead

Lord, in your mercy, hear our prayer

Dona Nobis Pacem 

Grant Us Peace
