Evening Prayer – 1 December 2015

  
On this first day of December we come to you

As we light the Vesper lights and lift our prayers 

A world that is filled with sorrow, grief, pain

A world filled with warfare, hatred, greed

We lift this world and our lives to you

Help us, Lord, not to lose heart

Help us, Lord, to continue to share your love

Help us, Lord, to work for justice for all people

Help us, Lord, to be instruments of your peace

Lord, in your mercy, hear our prayer 

Dona Nobis Pacem

Grant Us Peace 
A wee prayer from the heart of your Padre in the face of so much negativity and hatred in this world… Yet a prayer that is still hope-filled…
