Morning Prayer – 10 October 2015

  
By the time we got home from a shopping trip to Lowes and a blogging stop at Starbucks, this Padre was too bushes to blog an Evening Prayer… So here is a Morning Prayer as we prepare to head over the Rocky Mountains to Grand Lake this morning!
As morning breaks

As the sun begins to rise

We give you thanks, O Lord

Even though hours for sleep were brief

Hope springs in the morning

Rested, refreshed, we wait to see

To see what wonders this day holds

To see how you will be revealed
Thank you, Lord, for this new day

May everyone sense hope this day

May your peace be felt even by those who are lost

By those who are weary

By those who mourn
Dona Nobis Pacem

Grant Us Peace
