The sun has set and the Vesper Lights flicker and glow
A wonderful Lord’s Day
Gathered around Your Table
Breaking bread and sharing the cup together
An afternoon of refreshment with my sweetheart
An evening of simple relaxation
Now as my eyelids grow heavy
I lift this humble prayer to you
Dona Nobis Pacem
Grant Us Peace
A wee prayer from the heart of your Padre…
“Brigid sees the face of Christ in all persons and creatures, and overcomes the division between rich and poor. Our practice of inner hospitality as monks in the world is essentially about healing all of the places we feel fragmented, scattered, and shamed. One of her symbols is her cloak which becomes a symbol of unity. All can dwell under her mantle.”

Today was Presbyterian Women (PW) Thank Offering Sunday. Our wonderful PW members lead worship and they asked Denise to preach. Enjoy and be blessed!

The sun has set and the Vesper Lights flicker and glow
We gathered today to do your work, Lord
As the Plains and Peaks Presbytery
A time of worship, fellowship, prayer, and deliberation
There was also a time of collegial fellowship
This was followed by an evening of relaxation
A time to Be Still
Thank you for a wonderful day, Lord
Now as my eyelids grow heavy
I lift this humble prayer to you
Dona Nobis Pacem
Grant Us Peace
A wee prayer from the heart of your Padre…

The sun has set and the Vesper Lights flicker and glow
A day for refreshment and relaxation
A time to simply Be Still
A time to be with my sweetheart
A time with dear family who are visiting
A time of laughter and games
A time for conversation
A time to enjoy Your wonderful blessings
Now as my eyelids grow heavy
I lift this humble prayer to you
Dona Nobis Pacem
Grant Us Peace
A wee prayer from the heart of your Padre.,.
Wise words from Jake Owensby!
One simple phrase explains why we don’t eat a healthier diet, we skip the gym, we refuse to forgive, we resist apologizing, we avoid admitting when we’re wrong, and we don’t ask for directions when we’re lost.
“I don’t feel like it.”
