Pace e Bene – 14 November 2025

“What is that inner force that drives us, that provides regeneration and perseverance to speak the truth that desperately needs to be spoken in this moment of history? . . . If I deserve credit for courage, it is not for anything I do here, but for continuing in my daily struggle under occupation on so many fronts, for remaining samideh (steadfast) and, all the while, remaining open to love, to the beauty of the earth, and contributing to its healing when it is violated.”—Jean Zaru, Occupied with Nonviolence: A Palestinian Woman Speaks
We see a battlefront each day. No war declared, but so many are struggling… some taking their own lives as a result of inner conflict… worldly circumstance.
My resolve mirrors that of Jean’s. My only armor — my only weapon is perseverance. Calling up and proliferating The Great Love that’s ever-present.
We’re here to remind each other of this because we often forget as darkness seems to blot out the light.
We are the light…
As Ram Dass so aptly stated: “We’re all just walking each other home.”
Thank you for sharing this reflection, Donna!
