With advanced technology as catalyst, it seems we’re in uncharted waters… we’re moving beyond the place where we can expect the government to take care of us. I see a higher consciousness that’s been in the bud for ages, now beginning to bloom…this is the “storm before the calm”… a reckoning taking hold of the masses to see the (proverbial) light. Not exclusive of religion, but not dependent upon it either. God may indeed work in mysterious ways, but from a higher elevation of thought, all that’s happening is not so strange… and it seems necessary to crack open the darkness so the light can shine through. People get sucked into the media madness and can’t see God’s hand in the larger, perfect plan.
Please excuse the imposition, but I wish that I had included this passage with my earler remark — as it reflects the essence of my comment’s intent, before embellishments.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts, Donna. Thank you as well for sharing your struggles. I have a love/hate relationship with “religion” which may or may not be surprising due to the fact that I spent 36+ years in active ministry and have had my own struggles.
