Evening Prayer – 5 July 2021

The sun has set and the Vesper Lights flicker and glow

A lovely day for relaxing

Time to enjoy the day with my sweetheart and our puppy

Yes, neighborhood fireworks halted our evening on the deck

Despite that, we continued to relax indoors

Now as my eyelids grow heavy

I lift this humble prayer to you

Dona Nobis Pacem

Grant Us Peace
