Evening Prayer – 26 April 2021

The sun has set and the Vesper Lights flicker and glow

A good day of ministry, prayer, and reflection

An evening with my sweetheart and our puppy

Watching Sister Moon make her way across the sky

Her light illuminates the darkness

She guides us through the Valley of the Shadows

As I hold those who have lost loved ones this day

As I pray and work for peace

As I find moments to simply Be Still

I seek your presence and guidance, Lord

Now as my eyelids grow heavy

I lift this humble prayer to you

Dona Nobis Pacem

Grant Us Peace
