The sun has set and the Vesper Lights flicker and glow

On this Holy Day I am thankful

Thankful for opportunities to simply Be Still

Thankful for the inspiration that Thomas Merton offers

Thankful for the time with my sweetheart

Thankful for our Maundy Thursday worship

Thankful for the inspiration Spirit offers

Thankful for ministry opportunities

Thankful that I can lift in prayer those whom I love and am concerned about

Now as my eyelids grow heavy

I lift this humble prayer to you

Dona Nobis Pacem

Grant Us Peace
