Evening Prayer – 1 January 2021

The sun has set and the Vesper Lights flicker and glow

In fact it set so long ago that it is now the 2nd day of 2021

Today has been a wonderful day with my sweetheart

Relaxing, enjoying a wonderful brunch and dinner

Watching some Alabama football

Watching her joy as she explores her new camera

Now as my eyelids grow heavy

I lift this humble prayer to you

Dona Nobis Pacem

Grant Us Peace
