The sun has set and the Vesper Lights flicker and glow

It has been a wonderful day with my sweetheart

There is so much to be thankful for

Family and dear friends around the globe

Our kids in Chicago and Mobile

Our Dads in Alabama and Minnesnowda

Our church family in Georgia

For all of these gifts I thank you

Now as my eyelids grow heavy

I lift this humble prayer to you
