The sun has set and the Vesper Lights flicker and glow

As COVID-19 comes closer to home

It is a reminder that we aren’t talking about numbers

We are talking about people with names and stories and families

Guide us Lord, as we make smart decisions for all of your children

Help us to love you and to love our neighbors as ourselves

Lead us through the Valley of the Shadows

Open our eyes and our hearts Lord

Now as my eyelids grow heavy

I lift this humble prayer to you

Dona Nobis Pacem

Grant Us Peace
